Alaska? Well, guess that's okay too.

Post by chiller345 on Sun Aug 22, 2010 4:10 pm

Well, it's 5 or 6 am here in canada. You may be wondering why I'm up so early. Well, the reason is that today I am going on a trip to Alaska! Last time I went there, food was okay, and my friend was hassling the comedian doing a show until the manager of the cruise boat told us to shut up. Since I can't bring my laptop, if i'm on at all, most likely i'll be on the forums. Also, if you see them, tell Dirk and Pingu I said hi, because I didn't see them yesterday. See you guys later for now.

I guess there's nothing quite like a tropical cruise in Alaska...

By the way, you will instantly become a winrar if you egg Sarah Palin's house. Bonus points if you train the polar bear that rips your arms off to throw the eggs for you.

Have fun and do a barrel roll! (Z or R twice!)

Have fun on your trip Very Happy

Things like polar bears and hippopotamus are why they make BFG's!!! Nothing like peace through supperior firepower. Btw,bring the gun everywhere, hippopotomus be damned! You might run into a gothopotomus, much more common...and dangerous!

Wait a minute... that guy on the left is wearing an Insane Clown Posse shirt! That means that they aren't goths, but even worse: juggalos!

So do keep that BFG of yours handy. But if it should somehow fail, don't be afraid to resort to a FALCONE PAUWNCH!!!!11!1!!elevnty-one!111!11!!!

Actually, from what I hear, flamethrowers are legal in most states, so that doesn't sound like a bad idea...

Egging sarah palins house will prolly result in me becoming an hero for the reason of losing 3 iPods, a DS, getting my arms ripped off by a polar bear and going to jail. Although training the polar bear would be a good idea. lol!

Although, address would be appriciated, as well as instructions on how I is get flamethrower. P.S: How does I IRL barrel roll? scratch

P.P.S: I could try keeling gothopotimus with that gun in your siggy, jOn3z3y. shoot
Maybe that lazar also.

Well, there are several ways to make a wide variety of incendiary devices. There's the traditional "Axe Bodyspray + match/lighter" trick for MacGyvering a flamethrower, as well as the classic "Super Soaker + match + (insert flammable liquid here)" option. And though not a flamethrower, petrol bombs (aka molotov cocktails) are quite easy to make (bottle + petrol + cloth to use as a fuse). For bonus points, replace the petrol with napalm (Styrofoam + gasoline if my sources are correct)...

Don't judge me!

Now, how to IRL barrel roll: press Z or R twice!

Oh, you be talkin about makeshift ones. I know those, napalm = styrofoam or dishwasher soap + gasoline, bodyspray or air freshener + match or lighter, water gun filled with oil and a source of fire. Yeah, molotovs are great too. Glass bottles produce the most damage, being basically shrapnel nades that can light things on fire when molotovized.

But how does I push Z or R twice in IRL? No giant keyboard to push it on. :/

Yeah, I figure it'd be quite a trick to find an actual military flamethrower, so us civilians have to improvise.

And by the way, you don't press it on a keyboard, but on an N64 controller.

Hope that helps!

You lost your N64, too? Well, I suppose that's yet another reason you'll be an hero (besides the 3 lost ipods, lost DS, lack of arms, and trip to prison)!

Oh well. At least you can exploit your misfortune if you decide to write a book!

Hm. The Audacity of An Hero. Sounds good. I`m likely gonna have to type the book with my tongue, or make somebody else type it for me though. By the way, there are no N64 controllers on this here cruise boat, only those stupid PS2`s with their X`s and their O`s and their triangles and their squares. Also, i`m prolly gonna an hero before jail time, or i`ll have unwanted intrusions to add to the list.

Well, I suppose there IS an alternative to using an N64 controller: an emulator. (I figure if you're going to jail for egging Sarah Palin's house, you might as well add "piracy" and "theft of intellectual property" to the list of charges against you.) So just go to {insert name of website you get emulators from here} to get the emulator, install it/unzip it from the zip file (preferably with winrar), then go to {insert name of website where you can get the "Star Fox 64" ROM file here} to get "Star Fox 64" for your emulator. When that's all done, fire up the emulator, set your controls, and do a barrel roll to your heart's content!

Also, I would have told you where to get the emulator and rom if I thought the others here knew what Rule 8 is. Sorry, but you're on your own here!

Good luck, and do a barrel roll (the buttons you decide to have as Z and R twice!)

I'm using project64 so I can play all those good ol nitendo 64 games. So far I have only gotten around to playing super mario 64 and its the only game I dont need to emulate because its one of the few I haven't lost for my 64 Very Happy

When I do use an emulator (I still have my N64 so I usually use that), I usually use 1964; mostly because I couldn't get Project 64 to work with my gamepad. However, it doesn't really matter which emulator you use since they all have mostly the same features (1964 and Project 64 have a built-in Gameshark and Mupen64 has online multiplayer), so it's generally a matter of taste as to which one you use.

This isn`t dead because I ran out of internet minutes and was too lazy to buy more, amirite?

Anyways, this internet cafe means serious buisness. Downloading, P2P, even youtube, anything that gorges on bandwidth is basically impossible to do here. Therefore, downloading anything would be impossible. Good thing i`m goin home in a few days. Then I can do barrel rolls without obstacles in my way.
